The brand new Ascot Aquatics Center is scheduled to open shortly and will offer learn to swim classes, aqua aerobics, Pilates and hydrotherapy.
Ascot, and surrounds, is home to excellent public and private schools. Ascot Green sits in the school catchment for Aviation High and Hamilton State School, whilst Hendra State School, and the prestigious St Rita's College and St Margaret's Anglican Girls School are all close by. For those with younger children, the brand new Ascot Childcare and Kindy on located onsite off Lancaster Road.

There is a variety of excellent local cafes and restaurants all within walking distance on the Racecourse Road high street, down at Portside Wharf or tucked away in neighbouring suburbs so you never need go very far for your daily coffee fix. The Racecourse Village Shopping Center onsite has a range of restaurants with al fresco dining.
